The Blueprint EP is Eyes Stained Black's first "official" release, which
debuted in December 2007. The EP was meant to serve as a more
professional looking demo, and not to be considered a complete album.
The EP was recorded with then band members J Syntax, vocalist for
the band Mystic Syntax, and Aeryn Musick, vocalist/guitarist for YVTV. The
track "Believe" was originally written by Josh and Aeryn while Josh was a
member of YVTV.
Several of the tracks from the EP were re-recorded for the band's
full-length album, Paradigm Shift, 2 years later. Two music videos were also
filmed for the songs "Something Beautiful" and "Dead", which can be seen
below (click thumbnails).
